Le Vieux Roi
Pablo PICASSO
The last 15 years of Pablo Picasso's life are often referred to as "Jacqueline or the freedom of old age". During these years, the artist spent it in solitude... all his friends are dead. In his work, he will tackle 2 main themes: the Spanish musketeer and eroticism. And this painting, "Musketeer Bust", 1967 is just one of many works that show this sudden love for the Musketeer theme.
