Vagabond
Ram KUMAR
Ram Kumar is one of India's most brilliant contemporary artists. Many of his works have been inspired by the human condition, as in this painting "Vagabond", 1956. This work depicts a man in a gloomy mood walking alone in an equally gloomy place. The painting is figurative, as is the case with Kumar's works before 1957.
