Chu TEH-CHUN
In 1985; Chun Teh-Chun took a train to Geneva from Paris. During the journey, he was deeply moved by the scene of a heavy snowfall. Once back in Paris, he began to paint works depicting snow scenes between 1985 and 1989. And this painting "Cartés Paisibles" was one of his works. Here, the structure of Western composition meets the aesthetics of Chinese Xieyi painting.
