Commode Dit Lassale
Jacques-Emile RUHLMANN
The furniture created by Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann in the 1920s often featured abstract decorative motifs to emphasise their subtle form. Ruhlmann shows his exquisite taste for elegance and his preference for curved lines in this "Lassalle Chest of Drawers", 1925. The piece is decorated with delicate ivory embroidery and a diamond pattern.
